We have an opening for our Blood Drive Program Coordinator. This position involves coordinating blood drives here at St. Therese with our Blood Drive Representative from the Red Cross. Duties include recruiting donors for our blood drives as well as over-seeing the planning and general responsibilities of the drive as the host organization, The Church of St. Therese.
These responsivities include: Make sure the hall is available and ready for the drive before the Red Cross arrives. Recruit donors with the assistance of donor lists provided by the Red Cross as well as social media websites or other means of community outreach such as signage, posters etc.
Also, Provide and Coordinate other volunteers to assist with recruitment, room set-up, greeting donors, registering donors and support at the canteen for post- donation refreshments and generally supporting the Red Cross staff. You do not need any prior experience or medical background!
