Guest Speaker:
André L. Shipp, born in Jacksonville, Fl. Received Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 1982 from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. Earned Master’s Degree in Security Management in 1993 from Webster University, St Louis, MO. Completed the Federal Bureau of Investigations National Academy in 2000. Active-duty United States Air Force 1984 to 2007. Served in various assignments in the US and overseas. Retired at the rank of LtCol in 2007. Upon retirement, entered civilian industry as a Security Engineer and Principal Product manager for a Government Contractor. Provided US and overseas security assessments and security system design, installation and maintenance. Member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Past president and current Board Director of Bennett’s Creek Sertoma.
